TI and multimedia companies

After
Montreal and Sao Paulo in Brazil, the FIAM et le Conseil Québécois
pour l’Amérique latine (CQAL) join forces to organize
the Pan-Canadian trade mission for IT and multimedia companies
to TI@mericas 2003 in Mexico.
TI@mericas 2003 will take place from March 20 to 23 in Tijuana,
Baja California, Mexico. This important event features business
meetings (match-making), seminars, ateliers, conferences and
a trade show. Due to the participation of several Latin American
countries, TI@mericas will attract a large number of international
companies in addition to the pool of local Mexican companies
attending the event.
The event is organized by the Multimedia
Markets of Americas (MMA), in collaboration with
CANIETI (National Chamber of the Industry of Electronics Telecommunications
and Information Technologies), the association representing
Mexican IT and multimedia companies. Other associations in Latin
America (Brazil, Cuba, Venezuela) are also interested in the
event and will send company delegations to the event.
The business meetings at TI@mericas
2003 are part of the MMA, an initiative of the Quebec
Council for Latin America (QCAL) whose objective is to promote
partnerships between companies in Latin America and Canada.
After Mexico, other MMA events are planned in Chile, Ecuador,
Peru and Cuba.

Each
participating company becomes MMA member and is invited to register
at the MMA Multimedia Market to enjoy the access to the MMA forum
and database for the period of one year.
Option II :
Same advantages as option I plus the participation at the conferences

Companies
complying to the programs' admission criteria can cover part of
the expenses through the government programs PEMD (Canada) and
ImpactPME (Quebec).
