SHANYANG QIPANSHAN DEVELOMENT ZONE: A NATIONAL CULTURAL INDUSTRY DEMONTRATION ZONE Shanyang Qipanshan Development Zone is a national cultural industry demonstration area in China and the only one in the Northeast China. The future plan of the development zone includes: Developing creative design, animation and electronic game, wireless multimedia industries, and establishing the Qipanshan Digital Creative Industry Centre, in cooperation with China-Europe Cultural and Creative Industry Research Institute, and Chinese Carton Entertainment City; Developing film and TV production and forming the North-East Film and TV Centre, in cooperation with Kanto Movie and 3) Creating the North China Media Centre, in cooperation with North Media Group. Simultaneously, thanks to rich landscape resources, such as Forest Park, Xiu Lake and International Horticultural Expo Garden, Qipanshan Development Zone intends to become a national ecological region.
