Training Workshop and Round Table about digital African Film in Burkina Faso

In partnership with The 'Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, and with FESPACO (lthe most important Film Festival in Africa), the School-Studio - Studio-Ecole - of the Institut Supérieur de l'Image et du Son in Ouagadougou, and withe the support of the government of Burkina Faso, FIAM is pleased to annonce the organisation of a workshop devoted to training in digital film production on February 21th to 24, 2013 and of a round table with main producers and training institutions about the promotion, distribution and issues of digital film in French speaking film and video. M. Lassina Siribie, director of the Studio-Ecole will coordinate the workshop, bases on open source software (Cinelerra).

The Asia-Pacific Centre for FIAM in Tianjin

 The Asia-Pacific Centre (Preparatory) for FIAM is preparing an establishment at Tech Plaza, Nankai District, Tianjin, China, in cooperation with FIAM Asia-Pacific Network, World China Network Association (WCNA), the Economic Information Department of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and the Science and Information Technology Commission of Tianjin Nankai District Government, supported by Tianjin HDIG Investment Group Co., Ltd. With FIAM global network in the Asia-Pacific Centre will promote and develop the opportunities and projects multimedia, internet and digital creative industries in Asia-Pacific region.

FIAM's team is working on the development of a professionnal training structure, which would start in 2012 in the city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, South of Shanghai. It will first teach 2D, 3D and cartoon design and animation. It will also offer e-management training. This project is developped with FIAM's team of our Asia Pacific Centre. FIAM's members interested to join are invited to contact us.
